Brennessel e.V. is a place of support and community where women* are given opportunities to develop their personal strengths, try new things, and learn through social interaction. At the Women’s Center, women* facing difficult life situations receive counseling. A diverse cultural and educational program offers opportunities for learning and networking among women* from different walks of life.
Brennessel e.V. is also committed to women’s* rights and self-determination. A major goal is to raise social awareness of discrimination and inequality specific to women* and to actively combat these issues.
Brennessel e.V. collaborates on interdisciplinary projects at the local level to coordinate support services with other institutions and organizations. The association currently runs three projects: the Brennessel Women’s Center, the allerd!ngs specialized counseling center, and the PRIA prevention project.
